Building Development Manager/Project Manager

Building Development Manager/Project Manager - £50,000 to £55,000 plus car/allowance

We are excited to be kicking off our search for a new addition into our team as a Development/Project Manager to help drive forward our ambitious growth over the coming years. 

You’ll be working for an exciting, forward thinking company, where no two days are ever the same. Reporting to the Head of Property, you will be required to effectively manage all aspects of Building Project Delivery. Your role will ensure that there are strong relationships with key external development consultants as well as maintaining clear and concise communication to internal stakeholders to keep people up to speed with project timelines.

You’ll need genuine enthusiasm and a positive “can do” attitude to problem solving. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment whilst keeping up to date with all local and national regulations. Your role will be integral in aiding the business deliver on its vision of "the place where everyone wants to be" through impeccably delivered building projects. 


What we are looking for:

  • Relevant degree/experience within a project management role
  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, or equivalent professional body
  • Knowledge of relevant Built Environment related legislation is essential, both statutory and mandatory
  • Understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act, Control of Asbestos Regulations and The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
  • Experience within hospitality is favourable. Exposure to project management within similar sectors also suitable
  • Someone who has the motivation and drive to be forward thinking and who has the ability to spot potential challenges before they grow into delivery issues
  • Knowledge and experience to implement new ways of working to ensure effective and efficient project plans
