Train to be the best

We want you to develop within the Revolution Bars Group, to innovate and take initiative. To do that, we deliver world class training, giving you the tools to be the best.

Our training programme, ACE, stands for Amazing Customer Experience and is designed to give you the skills and the confidence to consistently deliver to the Revolution Bars Group standards and understand the needs of our customers. So far, over 2,000 members of the team have taken part.

But that’s not the only support you’ll get. For every career path, there’s dedicated training milestones along the way.


We want every single one of our customers to have an amazing experience, every time. To do that we need to enhance the experience, at every stage of the customer journey. ACE teaches you how to create these key moments across the following training areas.

Ace Induction

From your very first day, you’ll be given support and training through ACE. It will start with the history of Revolution and Revolución De Cuba, where we’ve come from and why our vision is to be the best bar to work in, be in and invest in.

Ace Food

Within Ace Food training you’ll cover basic service across the whole customer journey. The 6 modules include: preparation, hosting and customer engagement, drinks order and service, food order and service, after-dining and the departure. After all 6 modules, you’ll be able to deliver the perfect ACE.

Ace Kitchen

During ACE Kitchen training you’ll cover practical skills, learn company health & safety standards and how to progress as a chef. Modules range from brand standards and specification to the grill section and everything in between.

Ace Speed of Service

This session focuses on the importance of speed when serving and how crucial it is to know your environment and available resources. Then you’ll put your knowledge to the test with time trials and targets.

Ace Bartending

In this training session you’ll start with the importance of bar support, plus practical support skills and how to implement them. You’ll go on to learn all about drink making techniques from building and churning to stirring and shaking, before learning the 10 steps of service to live by.

The Revolution Bars Group Academy

The academy is a programme designed to train and develop our internal talent into future managers. Each academy typically recruits 25-35 supervisors each intake. The programme consists of a structured workbook, a bank of courses, on-site manager development and a mentoring scheme.

External Courses

We run dedicated training run by company specialists in marketing, IT and finance. For senior management, professional qualifications include CIMA and CIPD.
