Business Development Executive - Revolution Bars - Revolution Milton Keynes

Salary: £21,000 per annum (pro rata)

This role is available either on an hourly basis with approximately 40 hours a week or as a part-time salaried role of 3-4 working days.

Located in the busy Xscape Complex and amongst many a corporate businesses nearby, Revolution Milton Keynes is a vibrant 2 floor bar, restaurant and event venue which delivers amazing customer experiences through both consumer and corporate bookings, private hires and parties.

As the driving force behind generating the venue's pre-booked corporate events and expanding the database of contacts, a successful Business Development Executive would be a highly motivated and proactive individual, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a well-practised phone etiquette, be customer focused and results-driven, immaculately presented and able to work from your own initiative.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable with the following as this will form the largest part of the role:

- Dealing with online booking systems and corporate event admin (generating invoices, proposals and function sheets)

- Working with both cold and warm data to generate new business (through cold or warm calls)

- Conducting outbound visits to relevant businesses, companies and offices 

- Conducting venue showrounds

- Hosting venue showcases and in-venue networking events

- Attending networking events and business expos

- Working with targets

- Generating new marketing and proactive activity ideas 

- Being LinkedIn savvy

Your working hours will be primarily within 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, however there will be some variations to your hours required to fit business needs, dependent on events booked in and networking events to attend. The Christmas period is of course an extremely busy one as with any other hospitality/events-led venue so hours may increase during this time.

Previous sales or business development experience is desired but not essential as appropriate training will be provided.
